A workshop as part of Barbican’s Open Fest. Drawing on themes from Yto Barrada’s Agadir, Open Fest was a two-day festival of talks, workshops and activities that explore the concept of reinvention and the future of the arts.
Rebuild: From Wreckage to Home Again was a workshop of discussion and making that explored how new worlds are constructed out of societal or personal crises. I lead the participants to use a mix of text, found objects and other unusual materials to explore ideas of future worlds.
